The Tap East Diaries by Philippe Fenner

Self-Published (2012)
20 Pages, 20.5 x 28.5 cm, Paperback, Edition of 100

The Tap East Diaries is the resumption of months of drawings conducted from either directly behind the bar at Tap East, a specialist pub and microbrewery located opposite Stratford International station, or from photos taken there. Most people when talking about their work place end up iconising their long-term colleagues, (in Fenner’s case) regulars and significant events and conversations. With this in mind, two books The Tap East Diaries and ‘Lympic Diaries were produced, both acting as a record of memories of artist’s closest friends and most memorable moments.
