Events, New Arrivals

New book Punk’s Dead by Simon Barker (SIX) who was a member of the legendary Bromley Contingent presents a collection of rare and intimate photographs taken between 1976 and 1978 and capturing British punk rock scene of the era. Simon writes:

“The photos you see were all unplanned, spur of the moment shots taken by myself for myself and, up until now, with never a thought given to publication. In over thirty years, they have only been seen by a select handful of close friends. I used to think they weren’t good enough to show people. Now I think they are almost too good.”

Punk’s Dead exhibition opened today at Divus Temporary Gallery, 4 Wilkes Street, London E1 6QF. The book is available for purchase at Ti Pi Tin.
