Black Scabbard Research Centre by Pedro Ramos
|
Self-Published (2010) Black Scabbard Research Centre takes its name from the Black Scabbard fish, a mysterious, grotesque looking species residing between 600 and 1600 metres below sea level in the waters surrounding Madeira Island in the North Atlantic Ocean. This book presents original work as well as appropriated content from newspaper clippings, video stills from local tv stations, images received via email by friends and family members, etc Some images were taken out of context, opening doors to new ways of interpreting them and making them seem more interesting and mysterious beyond their original depictive intentions. £9.00
